My life has been a series of transitions-professionally, personally, and geographically.

At 10 years old, my family moved from Korea to Odessa, Texas. Yes, that’s right, the one from Friday Night Lights. (It’s a long story.) Suddenly, I had learn how to thrive in a world where the nearest Korean family was a dusty hour’s drive away. This drastic change to my life at an early age taught me a few important things that have served me throughout my life and career. They are fundamental pillars in the way I serve my clients:

  1. We can walk into big changes anxious, unsure, and cautious or be calm, self-aware, and decisive.

  2. The best way through a transition is connecting and building trust with the people around us.

  3. Change is going to happen. Are you focused on what’s important to you?

These lessons were constant themes in my life as I once again moved across the globe, crossed over industries, and progressed through leadership roles. They have stayed true during all of the phases I’ve navigated as a parent to my two sons, and as a daughter to my parents.

I have had a lot of fun and a lot of success over the past two decades of my professional life. I was able to help companies such as Nortel, CIGNA, MTV, JP Morgan Chase, and AIA get the results they want in the midst of rapidly changing businesses. Great mentors taught me how to take care of people and hire teams more talented than me. Consequently, I have spent my career not just working with amazing companies, but connecting with amazing people.

Change is inevitable when a career takes a Korean-born Texan to Singapore, Hongkong, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Transition is constant when a salesperson for a telecommunications company finds herself as a human resources manager in the insurance industry.

Adjustments are mandatory when navigating the changing roles we play with the people we love in our lives.

From my home base in Texas, I’m working with individuals, corporations, and nonprofits all over the globe who are leading through times of change.

Big changes don’t need
to leave us feeling:

Stuck, anxious, and out of control

Instead, we can lead ourselves and others through transition in a way that helps us feel:

Mindful, decisive, and optimistic

Does that sound like something you could get on board with?

Let this me help you navigate that next big step

New program

New team

New goal...

New position

New phase

New industry

in a way that gets you exactly what you want from it.
