My work is focused on helping professionals and organizations save energy, time, and money during transitions to get the results they want. This is the result of many years of navigating transitions as an HR executive with large companies in diverse industries--banking, technology, and insurance.
My experience in senior roles with companies who thrived in the midst of rapidly changing industries taught me how to quickly recalibrate and resume balance during transitions.
Change can throw a company into a period of chaos, but it doesn’t have to. As leaders, our goals, strengths, and values can center us during any pivot.
At the center of my approach are the four pillars of ECCL: Explore, Connect, Challenge, and Learn.
Explore
Connect
Challenge
Learn
Explore: There are always new possibilities to explore. We find clarity about what you really want, then identify small changes that lead to big opportunities. Through questioning and mindfulness, we work to understand why things are the way they are in our work and relationships. We practice strategies for self-awareness that help us to understand our strengths, perform at higher levels, make more effective decisions, and get better feedback and results.
Connect: We work to create trust and connection with the people around us in order to build stronger relationships, more engaged teams, and more energized company cultures. We pay attention to somatics (body, emotions, and language) to better understand ourselves and others. We figure out effective ways to initiate hard conversations, ask for what we need, and create environments that empower others to do the same.
Challenge: To quote Einstein (and why wouldn’t I?), “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” When we’re at a place where we aren’t getting the results, feedback, promotions, trust, or reactions we want, it’s time to broaden our perspective. We challenge our assumptions to create space for new ideas. We break habits that are no longer serving us and replace them with new ones. We move past limiting beliefs that are holding us back from getting what we want. Together, we work toward the goal of achieving greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence; both serve us in reaching our goals and being more effective leaders.
Learn: We learn and grow by practicing. It’s great to be able to cope in one challenging situation, but how can we use it to open up new possibilities for us in the future? Our work together is intended to help you learn and practice habits that will serve you throughout your entire personal and professional life.
